Houston M. Droel specializes in assisting clients with their corporate, construction, real estate, and general business needs. These clients come from a wide array of industries, including the construction, renewable energy, and AgTech industries.

Mr. Droel works closely with clients to understand their business goals and to structure transactions that meet those goals. He advises clients in structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and governance, joint ventures, and strategic investments and divestitures.

Mr. Droel assists clients with their real estate needs, including commercial and land leasing and easements, title searches and opinions, real estate disposition, land use compliance, and other complex real estate transactions.

Mr. Droel supports a wide array of general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and owners with their construction transactions and disputes, including project development and financing, lien rights, cross-state sales and use tax issues, and other complex construction matters. He assists utility-scale renewable energy companies with wind and solar project development and transactions, regulatory compliance, community solar programs, and other renewable energy needs.

Mr. Droel also helps clients with other general business needs, such as unique, complex commercial transactions, preservation of confidential, proprietary, and trade secrets information, and employee relations, policies, and procedures. Should a dispute arise, Mr. Droel assists clients throughout the litigation and dispute resolution process, including efficient and effective motion practice, fact discovery, and trial practice.
